Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well. I just recently started my journey learning Mandarin and am loving this site. I am on the second level and it has been mentioned several times about Mnemonics created.

Do you all know if we just search the dictionary for a particular word and hope to find it there? And/or is there an easier way to find all the mnemonics?

Welcome to Domino Chinese. I haven't noticed much in the way of mnemonics on the course.

Felix does provide some mental visualisation to help understand what characters are built from, but no sentences such as, "I before E, except after C", you might learn in English, and then see something weird going over a weir.

谢谢啊！ Yeah I had just noted he keeps referring to Rick will provide visuals, various mnemonics to remember some of the more difficult characters but was struggling to find these. I wasn’t sure if I was just overlooking them or if they had maybe not been released yet.

Hi, if you like mnemonics then you should check out the Heisig method if you haven't already. There's loads of free decks for the Anki SRS. But I think it's best to make your own mnemonics up, because everyone sees things differently! 🤷‍♂️ Good luck!
