I'm getting closer to signing up for the HSK 1, I think I'll try it in July (07/2020). Anyone have any tips on conquering this battle!? :)

Have you tried taking practice tests? You need to know what the test expects you to do. Look here for information about the test, practice tests, test dates and more.

Yeah, my recommendation is to do some mock tests before, do one now to understand the format and do a couple more when it's near the day, try to do them with the same time as in the official test.

And don't stress, HSK1 is easy.
