Hi all, I'm trying to register an account on WeChat (微信), but it requires some already-registered user to help. It has to be a registered user from the US or China, with at least 6 months since registration. Anyone able to help?

There's a way to "Help friend register" or "Assisted registration" as an option in the "WeChat team". When asked for the number, it's +1 2512928934

Sent an SMS to that number. See if that works.
I found that WeChat Assistant thing. It says you didn't send a sign up request or the request has expired, same as the QR code. Perhaps you need to do it again.
Something has changed, and now it's at the SMS verification step. The problem now is the SMS message is not arriving :). Anyway, thanks Lee and Charlie for helping out. I'll see if I can complete the process now.
