I took the Chinese driving test a couple of years ago and passed first time, but how? Arrr! It's all Chinese!
Well, foreigners can take an English version of the test, but you still need to prepare for it. Remember, I took the test a couple of years ago, so things could have changed.
If you already hold a driving license, mine is UK, you do not have to take the practical test.
This is a computer-based test that you must take at an authorised test centre. You get asked 100 questions and you must score 90 or higher to pass. Most of the questions are multiple choice or 'right' or 'wrong'. You answer questions based on images of driving situations. The Chinglish can be strange at times. I think there were some written descriptions without images as well.
I found a very useful website, which was key to me passing the test: https://www.chinesedrivingtest.com/
It is a free site, but you can donate if you want.
Oh yes! The real test is when you get onto the roads and drive.
Hi. Can you share the URL of driving test preparation website?
I did include it before, but it was not posted. Here it is.
It would be a good idea to read the traffic regulations. The link to that is on the 'info' page.
